architecture : how to capture and represent the verticals and horizontals which make up the subject, the subtle colours of stone, glass or metal, details and ornaments which enrich the image. Make use of perspectives. Use good lenses. Antique or modern, architecture is everywhere.

fashion – lingerie - nudes : express the personality of the model, seek out the revealing details. light the model to bring out the garment or the body, whichever is required. notions of style.

landscape : finding the viewpoint which does justice to the scale of the subject. farmed land, rivers, gorges, garrigue, forest: what approach to take. use of different focal lengths.

portrait : take control of natural or artificial light, establish a rapport so that the personality of the model can be revealed and expressed.

digital : differences between silver based and digital. available materials. taking digital pictures. transfer to the computer and possible modifications to the image. filing and archiving.

dates and fees for the courses

the fee for the day includes : model (for fashion, underwear, portrait and nude). lunch. the possible loan of equipment (please ask!). The day begins at 9.00 am and finishes around 6.00 pm.
we can advise you on where to stay in and near Uzès, (camp sites, gîtes, B&B, hôtels).
registration : state the dates required and include a cheque made out to Patrick Fagot for 100€ per day or 50% of the fee for the week. no refunds will be given less than 15 days before the start of each course.
